The Harran virus progression is similar to rabies. After you've been bitten by an Infected, the virus gets to your bloodstream and slowly but inevitably spreads all around your body.
The disease degrades nucleobases of your DNA and affects nervous and motor functions throughout the four stages:

You get flu-like symptoms. You cough and sweat a lot, and your pupils become dilated. You also get fever and cold chills.
